Workers' accommodation for Grünheide, Rüdersdorf, Schöneiche and Woltersdorf

The accommodation is in Erkner. From here you can reach the job sites east of Berlin in ten to twenty minutes – by car or by bus from the station. If your site changes, you don't have to move.

Distances from Erkner

Travel times are for normal traffic, not shift change. Buses leave from the ZOB bus station at Erkner station – you get there on the bus that stops opposite the driveway.

Why stay in Erkner

Erkner is the terminus of the S3 and lies on the RE1 to Frankfurt (Oder). Buses to all the neighbouring towns stop at the station. In Grünheide or Rüdersdorf themselves there are few beds for workers, and the few there are are usually fully booked or expensive. Here you pay from 35 € per person per night, with your own kitchen and parking in front of the house.

Getting there and the area – frequently asked questions

I work at Tesla in Grünheide – how do I get there?
By car it's around 12 km and about 12 minutes. Without a car, bus 429 runs from the ZOB bus station in Erkner to Grünheide. Many companies also run their own works buses from Erkner – ask your employer, as the departures depend on your shift.
Is the apartment in Rüdersdorf or Schöneiche itself?
No. All three apartments are in Erkner. From here you're in Rüdersdorf or Schöneiche in about 18 minutes. The advantage: if your job site changes, your accommodation stays the same.
Do I need a car?
No. The bus stops opposite the driveway – four routes run from there to Erkner S-Bahn station, where the S3 and RE1 stop. On foot it's around two kilometres, about 20 minutes. If you come by car, the parking in front of the house is free of charge.
We're coming as a crew – is there enough room?
The three apartments sleep up to eleven people between them. If one apartment isn't enough, we split the group and work out the cheapest arrangement. Just tell me how many of you there are.
Can I stay for a longer assignment?
Yes. From one night up to several months, with no deposit and no minimum term. For stays of four weeks or more there's a monthly rate – just ask with your dates.
