Accommodation for trade fairs and events in Berlin – one hour to Messe Süd, no change

When a big trade fair is on in Berlin, room prices in the city go up – and a team doesn't need one room, it needs five. Here there are three apartments with up to eleven sleeping places between them, from 35 € per person per night, with a bus stop opposite the driveway.

To the exhibition grounds with no change

Erkner is the eastern terminus of the S3, and the S3 runs right across Berlin – via Ostkreuz, Alexanderplatz and Hauptbahnhof (main station) all the way to Spandau. So you reach the exhibition grounds by the Funkturm without a single change: Messe Süd station, around an hour from Erkner. If you arrive by long-distance train, change once at Berlin Hauptbahnhof onto the S3 – and you're at Erkner station in 45 minutes. From there the bus takes you to the driveway.

Station From Erkner Line What's there
Berlin Ostkreuz 29 min S3 Umsteigebahnhof für Ring und Regionalbahn
Berlin Ostbahnhof 33 min S3 Uber Arena, Mercedes Platz, Friedrichshain
Berlin Alexanderplatz 39 min S3 Stadtmitte, Museumsinsel, Fernsehturm
Berlin Friedrichstraße 43 min S3 Mitte, Theater, Unter den Linden
Berlin Hauptbahnhof 45 min S3 Anschluss an den Fernverkehr in ganz Deutschland
Berlin Zoologischer Garten 51 min S3 City West, Kurfürstendamm
Berlin Messe Süd 60 min S3 Messegelände am Funkturm, ICC

Travel times from the VBB journey planner, rounded to whole minutes; individual trains vary, and times change when the timetable changes. During the day the S3 runs every ten minutes. The RE1 also stops in Erkner: heading west it runs as far as Berlin Ostbahnhof, and it gets there faster than the S3.

For stand-building crews

Build-up starts days before the fair, and it starts early. If you need to be on site at six, you don't need a breakfast room that opens at seven – you need your own kitchen and a parking space where the van can stay overnight. Both come as standard here, at no extra charge.

For groups

The three apartments sleep up to eleven people between them. If one isn't enough, we split the group and work out the cheapest arrangement – you pay per person per night, not per room. For stays of four weeks or more there's a monthly rate.

Questions & answers

Trade fairs and events in Berlin – frequently asked questions

How do I get from Erkner to the trade fair in Berlin?
The bus that stops opposite the driveway takes you to Erkner station; on foot it's about 20 minutes. From Erkner the S3 runs with no change to Messe Süd station by the Funkturm – around an hour. Hauptbahnhof is 45 minutes, Alexanderplatz around 40. The RE1 also stops in Erkner; it's faster, but heading west it only goes as far as Berlin Ostbahnhof. The connection for your dates is on the VBB journey planner.
Can we come as a team?
Yes. The three apartments sleep up to eleven people between them. Tell me how many of you there are and you'll get the split and the total price – you pay per person per night.
Is there room for a van?
Yes, parking at the house is free and suitable for a van too. In Berlin a parking space often costs more than a night here.
Can we get an invoice made out to the company?
Yes. Give me the billing address and I'll make the invoice out to the company – no deposit and no booking portal fee.
Is a single night possible?
Yes, from one night. Trade-fair build-up usually means several days in a row; for four weeks or more I offer a monthly rate.

Same apartments, different reason

It's always the same three apartments in Neu Zittauer Straße 60. Depending on why you're coming to Erkner, a different page will suit you best.

Which trade fair, how many people?

Tell me your dates and the number of people. You'll get back how we'd split you across the apartments and the total price, usually the same day.
