The location
Erkner: Berlin within reach, forest on the doorstep.
Erkner lies on the south-eastern edge of Berlin, where the city gives way to lakes and pine forest. From the station, the S3 runs without a change of train to Ostkreuz and on into the city centre – every ten minutes at peak times, every twenty minutes otherwise. If you work in Berlin or have errands to run there, you will get there faster than from many parts of the city itself.
At the same time, the Flakensee and Dämeritzsee lakes are within walking distance. In summer you can go for an evening swim, in winter for a walk along the water. For a place so close to the capital, it is remarkably quiet here.

How far is it to the station and to Berlin?
The bus stops opposite the driveway: four routes run from there to Erkner S-Bahn station. On foot it's around two kilometres, about 20 minutes. From Erkner the S3 takes around 35 minutes to Berlin Ostkreuz.
Is there parking?
Yes, free parking right at the house, plus space for bikes. There's room for vans too.
Are pets allowed?
No, I'm afraid I can't accept pets. All apartments are non-smoking.
